About Yelagiri

Yelagiri is quiet and pleasant hill station with at an altitude of 920 meters, amidst four mountains, with picturesque environs and part of Javad Hills of the Eastern Ghats. It is optimally located between the two major cities of Chennai (220 kms) and Bangalore (170 kms) with the national highway providing an easy drive. The hill station itself spans an area of 34 sqkm, which is comprised of 14 villages, good scenery and surrounded by hills.
